SCIENCO® Custom Tablet Development
Scienco offers the facilities of its tablet pilot plant, dispensing laboratory and field service engineers to assist customers in developing custom micro-ingredient tablet formulas to user’s exact needs or specifications.

Pilot plant technicians will help design an appropriate prototype and provide 50-200 samples for test pack evaluation at no cost. Scienco’s service engineers or sales representatives will assist customers in filling out a data sheet required to provide information necessary to initiate and guide development work. All information is held in strict confidence. Here’s what is needed to get started:

1. Description of customer product, container, and filling (depositing) system.
2. Quantities and description of micro-ingredients desired in formula and tolerances.
3. Specifications concerning dissolving or disintegration rate of tablet in the particular application involved.
4. Estimate of potential volume requirements. A minimum order for custom formulated tablets is 20 cases or approximately 1000 lbs.

Custom Tablet Production
Once your order is placed our tablet engineers will immediately begin to formulate your tablet. The recipe is produced and pressed into tablet form to verify press capability. The tablet is then tested to verify desired performance. A small-scale, customer test pack is created. The finalized tablet then determines the appropriate depositor to maximize efficiency.
